Kelly Wieczorek received her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School, graduating second in her class. Before that, she received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Kelly passed the Illinois Bar Exam and obtained her mediation certificate in 2019 and then went on to become a Certified Collaborative Law Fellow in 2023.
Kelly has dedicated herself to learning and experiencing various aspects of the legal process. She worked full-time as a paralegal while completing her bachelor’s degree. During law school, Kelly was an intern for Chief Judge Schoenstedt and Judge Archambeault in Will County, where she worked closely on dissolution and parentage matters, and she was a law clerk for a family law firm working in all areas of divorce. Kelly spent time volunteering as a 711 Attorney at Administer Justice helping the underprivileged on family law matters and estate planning. While juggling school, internships, and volunteering, Kelly won several Trial Advocacy competitions that focused on a participant’s ability to advocate for their client.
Kelly has spent the last 5 years working in Family Law as an attorney for a well-known family law firm. She is highly motivated and passionate with an extensive understanding of the procedural and substantive aspects of family law. She is excited to utilize her advocacy skills to promote the best interests of her clients and their families. As a child of divorced parents, Kelly understands the complexities of the family dynamic after a divorce and the effects it has on all people involved, parents and children alike. Because of this dedication to her clients, Kelly was included on the 2024 National Trial Lawyers Top 30 Matrimonial and Family Law Lawyers list. Kelly looks forward to working closely with her clients and the highly experienced attorneys at Mandas Law to reach resolutions that are best suited to the needs and concerns of her clients.
